Newly completed garden in London

Our client wanted a functional garden which was elegant, soft and attractive - it was agreed that there was neither the space nor right conditions for a lawn so it was decided that a seating area in the middle of the garden surrounded with planting was to be a key feature of the garden as well as the main seating area at the lower level by the house. The two levels are connected by planting in rills within the paving and gravel, drawing the eye down the garden and making the space feel comfortable and spacious.
